Oh The Wonders of Love

Hey guys,

Welcome to the blog once again. Today’s post is in many ways not like our usual. But I have it greatly impressed on my heart to write it, so write away I go.

So, from any of my previous posts featuring Mr. B as the object of my lesson, you should have deduced I am in love with my husband. Well yeah, like I say, should that be news?

Anyway, this morning I woke up just loving my husband (yes this is normal). But aside from me knowing it for myself, I just held on to him for a good while saying: I looovvvveee you. Lol (Toni, you are dramatic)

Honestly, honestly, no jokes I love my husband. Yes, we can both be annoying and all that. If we had a fight yesterday, I do not even remember. But I woke up this morning with a fresh dose of love.

As I held on to my husband and proclaimed my love, I simply blurted out: “if I love you like this, then I can not even begin to fathom how much God’s love for us is.”

Hmmm, true huh? Imagine me, a human waking up in the morning with a fresh dose of love for my husband, not because of anything he had done, not because I dreamt of him, but simply because I had love for him.

Like wow 😍 . Then how much more will God, our creator love us. Someone who was crazily in love with us to send His son, I mean His son to die for us. Boy, that love has got to be mega. I mean, He is the author of love, so how would He not know how to love?

As I prayed and meditated on my human love compared to God’s supernatural love.

I heard the Holy Spirit say: “Many cannot fathom the length, breadth or height of my love for them. Many are lost searching for my love in places it does not dwell. My love for you is deeper, greater, wider and more profound than any love you have ever known. My love for you supersedes situations, challenges, riches or wealth. My love for you is GREAT. Look through the windows of your eyes and see, see the wonders of my love. My love for you is greater than anything you can have or think of.”

So yes, that is my message for today. To simply remind someone out there, that God’s love for you is still undiluted. So while that boyfriend is being "fever", and making you feel unloved, remember God’s love is there. While that situation is making you feel you are alone in the world, God’s love is there. While you are job hunting and wondering when you’ll move forward. God’s love is there.

His love doesn’t change based on circumstances or situations. His love remains. All you need to do is, remember it, bask in it and utilize it.

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; the are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentation 3:21-22 ESV

Cheers.

  1. A new dimension to the love of God. Truly "Great is thy faithfulness ", because no matter the strength of the sin, God is love and always ready to forgive.
For Toni, many times i have heard the saying" forgive and forget". While its easy to achieve the former, the latter is always a tall order. But in any relationship that one can achieve both, the success of such is limitless.
I eventually achieved that with my wife, but it took time.
Keep it up daughter, Mr B, whatever you have been doing that made this possible, keep it up.
God will continue to be with you both.

  3. Sometimes life makes us forget the God and the amazing love he gives us despite our flaws. It's a beautiful feeling to know I'm loved just for being me!!
