Let me introduce myself to you....
My name is Tonilola Botchway. I am a woman of God. If you read this profile a couple of weeks ago, I was not proclaiming as boldly as this. But, as depicted with the title of my blog, I am a growing Christian. I am not yet at the height I need to be, but with the help of the Holy Spirit, we are striving towards perfection.
I am a child of the Kingdom of Heaven, born in Nigeria by virtue of earthly parents, but strongly standing in my first identity has a Child of God. I am joyfully married to Mr. Botchway, and lessons from my marriage is probably another blog altogether.
I don't aim to talk too much, but mainly to tell you the lessons I learn by virtue of the Holy Spirit. Bear in mind these lessons are not always joyful at the stage of learning, but they are key building blocks forming my faith.
In times past I have made this blog impersonal, probably because I wasn't embracing the gift which God had placed in my hands. But we thank God for His mercy and the ability to grow.
I have come to learn that even when my lessons seem very normal to me, the Holy Spirit uses it to teach a fellow growing Christian. So as impressed on my heart, I shall write.
So there it is, who I am and what I am here for, so join me as we learn together and grow together, and if you feel led to share with other growing Christians, please feel free.
